World of Hyatt loyalty program just announced a new Bonus Journeys promotion where travelers can earn up to 21,000 bonus points for stays completed in March or April. And if you have a World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card, you can earn even more points.
World of Hyatt members can now register to earn bonus points for every three eligible nights spent at participating Hyatt properties as part of the Bonus Journeys promotion. Plus, Hyatt credit card holders can earn even more points on eligible stays.
Here’s how the two promotions break down.
Earn 3,000 bonus points every three nights at qualifying hotels
World of Hyatt members can now register for the latest Bonus Journeys promotion. Once registered, you’ll earn 3,000 bonus Hyatt points for every three qualifying nights spent at participating properties during the promotion period. The list of participating hotels includes over 1,250 hotels across 25 Hyatt brands.
The promotion runs from March 1 through April 30, 2024, and you must register for the promotion by April 15, 2024. You can earn the bonus points for up to 21 nights, meaning you can earn a maximum of 21,000 bonus points during the promotion.
Based on the point valuations at frequent flyer website The Points Guy, World of Hyatt points are worth 1.7 cents apiece. In other words, the maximum 21,000 bonus points you can earn as part of this promotion are worth $357 — or $51 each time you earn the bonus.
According to the terms of the offer, the eligible nights do not need to be consecutive in order to qualify for the bonus points. Like most Hyatt promotions, award stays do count toward this promotion.
Plus, earn more bonus points if you have a Hyatt credit card
Hyatt is enticing its credit card holders to use their card more often by awarding bonus points for each stay you make with your World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card.
These card holders can earn up to 7,000 bonus points in conjunction with the Bonus Journeys promotion. You’ll get 1,000 bonus points per eligible stay at participating 500+ hotels in Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mainland China, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, the UK and Vietnam.
More than 500 Hyatt properties participate in the promotion across the 13 participating countries. You can view the full list of participating properties on Hyatt’s website. Some notable hotels include the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars, the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and the Park Hyatt Dubai.
While 1,000 points per stay might not sound like a record-breaking number of points, the maximum 7,000 points is a good chunk — worth about $105 based on TPG’s valuations.
Should you get a World of Hyatt Credit Card?
The World of Hyatt Credit Card is a staple in many frequent traveler’s wallets, and for a good reason. It includes a complimentary Discoverist status and an annual reward night (valid at Category 1-4 properties) starting with your second card member year. Plus, you can earn a second reward night when you spend $15,000 on the card in a single calendar year.

Meanwhile, small business owners might consider opening the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card instead. This business credit card has a suite of Hyatt benefits, including Discoverist elite status for the primary card holder and up to five employees and up to $100 in Hyatt statement credits per year. Plus, the card is currently offering an opportunity to earn 60,000 points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in your first three months from account opening.
Earn 500 bonus points at new Hyatt hotels
Hyatt has an ongoing promotion that awards 500 bonus points per night at new hotels. You do not need to enroll in this promotion and the list of new hotels changes periodically. At the time of writing, some notable new properties include the Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya and the Thompson Palm Springs, among others.
Bottom line
If you can take advantage of any of these World of Hyatt promotions, make sure to register and earn bonus points on your next Hyatt stay. Between the two new Bonus Journeys promotions alone, you could earn 28,000 points in total — worth about $476 toward travel.
