When it comes to my summer wardrobe, cool and comfortable pretty much sums up my style, even if I have to sacrifice looking good to achieve it. So when I came across this PrettyGarden summer romper from Amazon that combines fashion, comfort and versatility, I knew I had to have one (or three).
Buying three of the same outfit may sound a little excessive, but at this price, I couldn’t resist. I also tend to wear things I love over and over until it gets embarrassing, so this was really a no-brainer for me.
This versatile jumpsuit is so comfortable and stylish that I ended up buying three in different colors. It can be dressed up or down, it comes in 32 colors and it runs from a S to 3XL.
The sleeveless version of the PrettyGarden jumpsuit is perfect for hotter weather and if you want a more casual look. Though it only comes in 20 colors, there's enough variety for everyone’s taste.
What I liked about it
Why do I love this jumpsuit? Let me count the ways. I honestly could wax lyrical about it to anyone who wants to listen. Other than the aforementioned comfort factor due to the soft fabric and loose but stylish fit, this jumpsuit can be dressed up or down. I’ve worn it with heels, flats, flip-flops, sneakers and boots. I’ve added a belt, a leather jacket, a cardigan and even costume jewelry to jazz it up for date night. It really is that versatile.
This is also a perfect jumpsuit for traveling. Any train, plane or car ride longer than three hours, you better believe I’m wearing this. And I cannot tell you how many times flight attendants have commented on my choice of travel outfit — they know a comfort queen when they see one.
The drawstring waist makes it suitable for any body shape or type, while the off-the-shoulder look gives it a stylish twist and a hint of skin in this otherwise covered-up outfit. It also comes in a sleeveless version for warmer weather. Oh, and it has pockets.
Some people can be put off by jumpsuits and rompers due to how difficult they can be to take on and off, but this one is easy to wear — you just step into the legs as you would a pair of pants and pull it up over your body and insert arms. There is one button at the nape of the neck that is very easy to reach and close — no assistance needed. The cinched ankles means you can pull them up to below your knees or calf length for a more cropped look or for hotter summer days.
It comes in 32 different colors and styles, including camo and tie-dye, and it runs from a S to 3XL. I’m usually an XS, but the S fits fine. I actually liked that it was a little baggy on me, so I can confirm it is very true to size.
What I didn’t like about it
This is the part of the review where I tell you what I don’t like about the jumpsuit, and I’m sorry to disappoint, but I have yet to find a flaw. If I had to pick at something, then I would have liked it if they offered it in XS, but as stated above, the S fits just fine.
