Parachute

Parachute and Birkenstock are teaming up to deliver the perfect fall collaboration. Sure, it might still be summer temperature-wise, but in just a few short weeks, we’ll be reaching for cardigans and house slippers to fend off the autumn chill. Part of getting ourselves sorted out for the new season is making sure we have something cozy at hand to keep us warm from top to toe, and that’s exactly where this fuzzy new pair of slippers comes into play.

Parachute's new Birkenstock collaboration yields one of the coziest slippers we've seen. The Zermatt slippers have a genuine shearling lining that rests on a contoured cork footbed and comes wrapped in suede for a luxurious finish.

Parachute has called this “the ultimate slipper,” and it isn’t exaggerating. The two companies clearly put a lot of thought into the footwear’s design, merging the iconic shape and contoured cork footbed of Birkenstock sandals with Parachute’s commitment to all things warm and fuzzy.

We’re already daydreaming about trodding around the house with our feet encased in the soft genuine shearling lining. There’s even a built-for-outside sole in case you want a little extra grip inside or need to run the recycling bin out to the curb.

The new slippers come in unisex sizes and are available in both narrow options (sizes 37 through 41) as well as a regular widths (sizes 42 through 45), so there’s a size for many members of the family. In terms of color, you can choose between Mink (a rich tan you might associate with Birkenstock) or an herb-green shade of Thyme.

Our advice? These might go fast, so we suggest you shop the drop before it sells out over at Parachute. We tend to love everything the brand releases — just see our previous Parachute reviews — and this new collaboration should certainly continue that excitement.
