Solo Stove

Snoop Dogg pretty much broke the internet last week when he announced to his 83 million Instagram followers that he’s giving up smoke. “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” he wrote in a post alongside a black and white photo of himself. “Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Could it be that the legendary rapper, who has long maintained he smokes weed every day, was in fact giving up his beloved pastime? As it turns out, Snoop wasn’t referring to that kind of smoke. In an announcement made today, he clarified that he’s partnering with the smoke-free fire pit brand Solo Stove, becoming the brand’s official “smokesman.” “I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much,” Snoop Dogg said in a press release. “Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family.”

Together, the two have released a new signature line of products dubbed Snoop Dogg x Solo Stove. Available now, the partnership is kicking off with a limited-edition bundle that includes a Bonfire fire pit designed by Snoop, a fire pit stand, a Snoop bucket hat and a Snoop x Solo sticker pack, all of which is priced at $350.

In addition to a laser-etched Bonfire 2.0 smokeless fire pit, the Snoop Stove bundle comes with a "Going Smokeless" bucket hat and a Snoop x Solo Stove sticker pack — plus, the new Removable Base Plate and Ash Pan, Bonfire Stand and a carrying case.

Solo’s medium-sized outdoor fire pit, the Bonfire 2.0 — its bestselling style — is 19.5 inches in diameter, 14 inches tall and weighs about 23 pounds. Because of its double-walled design, the Solo Stove pits get roughly 400 degrees hotter than other conventional fires, which eliminates smoke. This was a huge selling point for Snoop Dog, who loves nothing more than sitting fireside without “coughing and his clothes smelling all sticky icky.”

Wrapped in a matte black colorway, Snoop’s Bonfire bears his “SD” initials in an olde English font, two paw prints and the rapper’s signature. The accompanying black bucket hat bears the phrase “Going Smokeless,” while the set of four stickers include mini replicas of the fire pit, the hat, Snoop’s signature and a traditional stainless Solo Stove fire pit — albeit one that is wearing a gold chain bearing the “Solo” logo.
