Even though Jason Oppenheim has been a part of the hit Netflix series “Selling Sunset” since 2019 and its spinoff, “Selling the OC” since 2022, the high-profile real estate broker and president of The Oppenheim Group insists that he doesn’t let all those intrusive cameras — or onscreen drama — impact his demanding schedule.

“Production doesn’t affect my ability to handle my professional responsibilities,” he says. “I’m still doing the exact same things now that I would have done before the show.” To that end, Oppenheim notes that he was just on a call with another agent and had just spoken to a client “who wants me to sell his house up on Sunset Plaza.”

And while having a lot of stamina helps when it comes to getting through his busy schedule, so does an old-fashioned caffeine boost. “I can’t even really get my day started without coffee,” he says. “It just gets me going.” That’s why Oppenheim, who has a partnership with Keurig, says he keeps a Keurig Coffee Maker in his L.A. house and one inside all the Oppenheim Group offices. (He just opened a new one in San Diego).

In between work calls, the reality TV star and president of The Oppenheim Group shared his everyday essentials with CNN Underscored.

Oppenheim estimates he owns “about 30 pieces” of clothing from this popular activewear line. (“My gym is about 50 feet from the office,” he explains). Among his wardrobe staples is this shirt, which is made from a super-soft fabric that wicks away moisture and eliminates sweat-induced odor.

He was so impressed by the acclaimed drama “Oppenheimer” that he was inspired to re-read his all-time favorite book. “I read it twice when I was younger and highlighted it, but I lost my copy,” he says of this Pulitzer Prize-winning opus, which chronicles the people and politics that led to the development of the atomic bomb. “I find it to be such an interesting story.”

These lightly salted gluten-free baked green pea crisps used to be served to him on flights. “I loved them so much that now I have them in my office and house,” he says. It’s an ideal snack, he notes because each low-calorie pack is loaded with plant protein and has just the right amount of crunch.

Just how much does Oppenheim value his coffee maker? He sums it up: “I’m being completely serious when I say it’s the only thing on my kitchen counter!” (He adds that he hasn’t cooked at home in over six months). The energy-efficient device automatically adjusts the brew temperature, which allows for a full-flavored hot cup or a refreshing iced blend.

For strength training exercises on the road, Oppenheim fills this inflatable aqua bag with water and starts lifting. The tool, which is adjustable, packs easily and can deflate with just a push of a button, can hold up to 45 pounds. “It’s a great workout! I can do bicep curls and shoulder presses with it,” he says.

There’s just one reason Oppenheim needs his premium wireless headphones on flights: to block out noisy kids. As a bonus, he adds that these babies can sync up to the entertainment screen in front of his seat, “so you don’t need to use anything with a cord.”

Because Oppenheim is constantly on the go, he takes luggage seriously. His pick: This lightweight yet durable bag that can fit in the overhead bin of most airlines and has 360-degree spinner wheels. “It’s so easy,” he says. “I can just throw it in the back of the car and be gone.” It also comes with a water-resistant laundry bag!
