Quickly becoming one of HGTV’s most recognizable hosts, Jenn Todryk from “No Demo Reno” is loved by viewers for many reasons. First, there’s her hair. It’s impossible to not watch the show and obsess over her bright-red and ultra-long flowing locks. Then, of course, there’s Todryk’s design chops and her uncanny ability to completely transform homes with nary a sledgehammer lifted. The idea behind the show is that Todryk makes her clients’ budgets go a lot further by sticking to the home’s floor plan and not tearing down walls or adding space. In doing so, the home renovation expert can instead splurge on “wow” items like built-ins, tile, wallpaper, appliances, lighting and furniture to completely renovate a space — all done in her signature modern-but-welcoming style.

“I like spaces that look cozy and charming,” Todryk tells CNN Underscored. “I want my clients to see their new spaces and think it looks elegant and ‘high end’ but also see a charming, cozy casualness to it.”

Todryk has Instagram to thank for her road to HGTV stardom. An established influencer, her Instagram account had more than 700,000 followers when a network production agent spotted her on the Discover page, and the rest is history! Known for posting silly videos with her pets, three kids and husband, Todryk now has 1.3 million followers and shares everything from design tipsand her favorite Amazon picks (she has a degree in fashion, by the way, and even had professional stints at Marie Claire, Zara and Forever 21) to updates on her other businesses, Armor Coffee Company and Armor Brewing Co.

Todryk’s top piece of advice for anyone looking to overhaul their home? “Try to hone in on what your design aesthetic is before you make any decisions,” she says. “A mood board is a great way to start! Find pictures of spaces that you think are beautiful and try to pinpoint what makes you like the space. Is it the paint on the walls? Is it the modern light fixture? Is it the furniture? Picking apart photos and piecing together the elements will help you define your style.”

Below, Todryk shares some of her favorite home finds, from chic furniture pieces to large ceramic pasta bowls.

We’re always on the lookout for new candles, and Todryk has just the recommendation. “This candle smells amazing,” she says. “It has a wood wick and lasts forever!” Available in seven scents — each of which is housed in a gorgeous glass jar with a lid — the candle has a 90-hour burn time.

Coffee-table books not only look great on display but they’re great conversation starters. “I love these coffee-table books because they are so simple and elegant but have beautiful pictures on the inside,” she says. “I leave it open on my coffee table.” This hardcover book pairs each psalm from the Bible alongside stunning photography of the Irish countryside.

“Decor pieces everyone should own include good pillow inserts and covers,” says Todryk. Among her affordable favorites are these linen fringed covers that come in seven colorways and these boucle covers.

“This is a mirror that I have hanging in my girls’ bathrooms,” says Todryk. “It’s so beautiful and elegant in person. It gives off major vintage vibes. So feminine and fun!” Similar in style to the cult-favorite Anthropologie mirror, this version comes in five colors and six sizes.

Pasta bowls are having a moment, and Todryk agrees that we all need them in our kitchen. “I love these ceramic pasta/dinner bowls,” she says. “They have so much character and a very organic rustic look. They are great quality too!” Available in multiple colorways, the bowls are scratch-resistant and oven-, dishwasher- and microwave-safe.

Affordable art alert! “I love these framed canvas pieces,” says Todryk. “This shop has so many options on Amazon, and they are so affordable. I love that they come framed and look like real canvas paintings.” Wall26 offers canvases in more than 40 styles, not to mention six size formats as well as white and natural-hued frames. Another Amazon shop she loves is Idea4Wall, which offers even more framed canvas options.

“I love Four Hands furniture. It’s currently my obsession,” says Todryk. Her top pick from the brand is this mango wood and woven cane bed frame that is “earthy yet classic — very much my aesthetic,” she says. Chock full of texture, the bed’s three-panel headboard and footboard only add to the overall appeal.

Everyone can use a good armchair, and Todryk is a big fan of this open and airy option. “I love the simplicity of the Four Hands designs; they have a touch of mid-century modern but with organic modern materials,” she says. The Ariel chair’s neutral color palette is also a fit with pretty much any aesthetic. Looking for a coffee table to accent it? Todryk loves this one
