Not to brag, but I’ve been on the Abercrombie resurgence trend since around 2017 — dare I say, I helped bring them back? I’ll admit — and as my friends know, I’m obsessed with the brand (yes, I’m a proud VIP member) and always have a tab open on my phone. I’ve owned a safari-inspired linen romper from there for years, and it’s my go-to for summer. So, when I saw they offer the same breezy material in a shirt dress that’s perfect for the office, I couldn’t add it to my cart fast enough. It’s effortless, breathable and chic for summer. — Tamara Kraus, senior lifestyle editor

Linen is airy and light, perfect for staying cool yet looking put-together during the summer. This organic linen skirt is one of my favorite pieces I’ve added to my wardrobe this season. It has a subtle high-low hemline that is great for my petite height. I love how it looks with sandals or boots (I tried out a “coastal cowgirl”-inspired look and paired it with my Tecovas Annie boots), plus the pockets give it bonus points. — Sophie Shaw, associate fashion and beauty editor

Both lightweight and stretchy, these wide-leg pants are perfect for the warmer weather and comfortable enough to wear all day. The pants can be styled with the Crosshatch Linen Artist shirt to create a chic matching set or paired with a summery top. — Rachel Dennis, editorial coordinator

Combining two classic summer style elements — white and linen — this eyelet skirt is a must-have. It has a roomy, A-line fit and cute button closures on one hip. It reads more maxi skirt than midi for my 5-foot-2-inch frame, hitting at my ankles. Because it’s linen, it is prone to wrinkles, but that’s part of the breezy, relaxed look of the textile. I can also imagine it as a poolside look, worn over a one-piece or with a bright bikini. — Sophie Shaw, associate fashion and beauty editor

The perfect white tank can be elusive. But Buck Mason knows how to craft the basics with a certain flair. I love this lightweight, 14-gauge linen blend tank top because it is chic enough to throw on with slacks or a flowy skirt but still knocks it out of the park paired with a pair of jeans or even shorts. Plus, Buck Mason offers a small secret weapon on their tanks that I appreciate immensely: a hidden thread chain and snap at each shoulder to hold bra straps in place. — Tobey Grumet Segal, health, fitness and food editor

This linen button-down shirt goes with absolutely everything and is a must-have for your summer closet. It is light and breathable yet still stylish. You can dress it up or down, making it super versatile for any occasion. It comes in a bunch of different colors and is a reasonable price for the great quality you get. — Gabriella Triolo, social coordinator

Now that I’ve taken up both tennis and golf, I obviously need a cute outfit to go with my activities. Thankfully, Alo has me covered, and this simply adorable tennis dress is not just comfy on the court or the course — I can also throw it on for an everyday outfit when the sun is steaming everything up. Thanks, Zendaya, for making tenniscore cool again. — Tobey Grumet Segal, health, fitness and food editor

Sometimes the summer heat is just too much and even a normal tank top doesn’t help you cool down. When I bought this extremely lightweight cami I knew all of my sweaty summer days were in the past. It’s extremely breathable yet still thick enough to not completely be see-through. It’s the most comfortable cami I own, and I will definitely be wearing it with everything this summer. — Gabriella Triolo, social coordinator

You can never go wrong with a classic white shirt in the summer. It’s the answer to every wardrobe problem. You can dress it up with a skirt or dress it down with denim shorts. You can throw it on when you have nothing to wear and always look good. We recently tested a bunch of white shirts and I especially loved this classic, fitted tee from Skims. It’s soft, flattering and, better yet, ultra comfortable and stretchy. — Carolina Gazal, associate testing writer

Nothing says easy, breezy summer like a flowy white dress. And Lilly Pulitzer knows how to fuse that classic Palm Beach style with a fit-and-flare maxi design that can go as easily to drinks, dinner and parties as a cool walk on the beach, boardwalk or cobblestone streets. And score! It even has pockets.— Tobey Grumet Segal, health, fitness and food editor

White shirts are a summer staple for a reason. They look good with everything and can be dressed up or down depending on where you're heading. This one from Leset is one of my favorites and looks great tucked into high-waisted pants. It's a shirt that I can wear into the office or to church with slacks or with shorts at home. — Rachel Dennis, editorial coordinator

Honestly? As much as I love the idea of snug white jeans, I have never been able to find a pair that doesn’t show off all the bumps that lie underneath them. Until now. Spanx knows how to smooth everything out, and how to make me feel comfortable in this summer staple. I especially like this cropped pant because it’s stretch twill is super comfy, it’s got that awesome Spanx tummy shaping panel and the buttons on both the front and back give it an almost nautical design. — Tobey Grumet Segal, health, fitness and food editor

This 100% cotton dress from Hill House Home has been my go-to for cute one-and-done outfits this summer. I’ve worn the Ellie into the office with loafers, on vacation to the Caribbean and even to my sister’s college graduation, and I constantly get compliments on how good the dress looks. The vegetable print is a fun spin on the florals you see everywhere this season, and the sleeves on the dress add a dramatic flair to the look. Basically, it’s pretty much everything I look for in a dress. It's comfortable to wear, flattering on the body and versatile. — Rachel Dennis, editorial coordinator

Jean shorts are the hardest item ever to shop for, but I think I just found the answer to all my problems. These shorts from Levi’s are comfortable, yet cute and perfect for this summer. I love how they go to your mid-thigh because so many jean shorts ride up, but these don’t at all. They’re comfortable all day long and the perfect addition to your closet. — Gabriella Triolo, social coordinator

Another Abercrombie gem I added to my cart on sale during Memorial Day, this resort-inspired silk set hits not one but three trends for the summer: silk, floral and matching sets. Last year, I wore a white linen short set on repeat on all my beach adventures, so decided it was time to get one in a more playful pattern for this year. I love that the blue pattern I got isn’t too floral; it’s more subtle and feels oh so European. — Tamara Kraus, senior lifestyle editor
