Frankly, the magical part of this machine is that it can turn sodas, juices, booze and more into frozen drinks without requiring any ice (or blades, for that matter). Our reviewer turned out delicious virgin daiquiris, coffee frappes, milkshakes and even a kombucha slushy without the effort she’d normally go to with a blender, ice and hand-wash-only blades (the parts on this one are dishwasher-safe). Most drinks take between 15 and 60 minutes to create. So, while a little foresight is required, once you pour the liquid into the machine, the process is basically hands-off.
Plus, since there’s no ice involved, meaning anything you put in will come out full flavored, sans dilution. You can also opt to make drinks thinner or thicker, depending on preference.
