If anyone knows about traveling 24/7, it’s model and entrepreneur Madison Headrick Nahmad.

A fixture on fashion runways around the globe, Headrick spends a lot of time on airplanes, which was the inspiration behind her travel-friendly skincare and wellness brand Care.e.on. “I travel often due to my modeling career and experienced difficulties packing appropriate skincare items,” says Headrick. “Travel-sized products were often expensive and sold individually and transferring products into smaller bottles was messy and inconvenient. The vision for Care.e.on was to create a travel kit that could be easily carried in all bags and suitcases, eliminating the stress and hassle of packing skincare items.”

Corralled in a chic mesh pouch, the Care.e.on kit includes four holy grail skincare products — hand sanitizer, facial mist, hydrating pads and a hydrating mask — all created specifically to be TSA-approved. “Taking great care of my skin and getting enough sleep is my main priority when traveling,” says Headrick. “I never travel without my Care.e.on kit as I find it crucial to do a skincare routine on the flight. Airplane cabins are a recipe for breakouts and dehydrated skin, so it is important to also drink lots of water.”

After over a decade in the modeling biz, Headrick has racked up loads of insider know-how, including beauty tips galore. Chief among them? A good ol’ bucket of ice. “If I’m traveling and don’t have all my skincare gear, I will order a bucket of ice to my hotel room, fill a bowl with ice and cold water and dunk my face in it,” says Headrick. “This helps eliminate puffiness, reduce oiliness, ease acne, boost the skin’s healthy glow and reduce signs of aging such as wrinkles.”

A perennial CNN Underscored beauty favorite tops Headrick’s list, too. “This ice roller is great for waking up the skin and reducing puffiness,” she shares. “I like to put on a face mask and then roll on top to help my skin absorb the product more.” Available in multiple colors, this ice roller is also great for massaging on the temples if you have a migraine.

More than 45,000 Amazon users swear by this Bioderma product and Headrick is one of them. "This micellar water is my favorite product for removing makeup,” says Headrick. “It is good for sensitive skin and can be found anywhere (which is great for travelers)."

Another item in Headrick’s beauty arsenal? None other than her brand’s Hydroboost Highdrating Pads. “While they are meant for the face, the pad is so big and juicy, I like to use the leftover for my arms, neck, and décolletage to reduce inflammation and to smooth and hydrate my skin," she says.

Fashion basics are the key to a versatile wardrobe and Headrick says this cotton tee is all she wears. “This James Perse crew neck tee is the perfect t-shirt," she says. "There’s no comparison! The fit is unmatched.” The good news for us is that it comes in 14 colorways.

While there are endless mascara options on the market, there’s only one for Headrick. “Kevyn Aucoin mascara is the only mascara I use,” she says. “It gives the perfect lift and color to the lashes in a natural and light way without making them look thick and spidery. This mascara also doesn’t bleed and leave dark marks on the top of my eyelids." The best part, Headrick adds, is that "it is SO easy to remove when washing your face as the product rolls/balls off rather than smears off."

Fear not: Tangles happen to supermodels, too! "The Wet Brush Original detangler is my go-to,” says Headrick. “I’ve tried just about every brush, but the Wet Brush is the only one that works for my hair type. It detangles pain-free and doesn’t make my hair look poofy.”

Care.e.on was created to solve the problem of packing skincare items for travel, and as a result, the brand’s facial mist has become one of Headrick’s beauty must-haves. "I never leave the house without it,” she says. “It wakes my skin up, reduces puffiness and it also doubles as the best makeup setting spray I’ve ever used."

Headrick’s favorite thing about fall fashion is layering, like pairing a collared shirt and sweater, for a preppy vibe. “This Guest in Residence oversized crew is my favorite sweater for fall,” she says. “I tend to wear a lot of black, so having a pop of color or a fun printed sweater is my favorite look."

In between hair washing, Headrick relies on Oribe’s cult-favorite dry shampoo. “It is the GOAT,” she says. “It’s expensive but totally worth it. My hair instantly becomes less oily and gains volume. I like to spray on my scalp, massage in, do a hair flip and then let it sit in a bun. When I pull the bun down, my hair looks fresh and clean and has a bounce.”

Headrick says this Chanel classic is a favorite when she's doing a full face of makeup. “It is light and makes my skin look fresh and healthy,” she says. “When I wear it, people always say, ‘Wow, your skin looks incredible. Are you wearing makeup?!’ It is light enough to where you can still see your skin but has enough coverage to cover blemishes and even out the skin tone.”

Masks will always be something we can get on board with and this hydrogel sheet mask from 111Skin is one of her go-tos. Headrick says she uses the product before a photoshoot or an event because “it instantly makes my skin look glowy and fresh.”

Chief among Headrick’s beauty tools is this FDA-cleared light therapy device from Dr. Dennis Gross. “I use this often and am obsessed with it,” says Headrick. “It boosts collagen, improves skin density, smoothes wrinkles, clears acne and helps diminish discoloration. I tend to get sensitive pink/red skin around my nose and mouth and this has really helped.”

The country craze is far from over, and Headrick is embracing the trend. “I was in Nashville over the weekend visiting my sister and she took me to Lucchese Bootmaker and it was heaven!” she says. “I scored a pair of the Summer boots in black and will be living in them all of fall.” Handmade in Texas, these leather boots feature a stacked heel and are available in nine different sizes and two different widths.
