Wearable breast cancer monitor could help women screen themselves

Inspired by her aunt’s battle with cancer, MIT professor Canan Dagdeviren developed a wearable ultrasound monitor that can screen women between check-ups – allowing them to “protect themselves by detecting themselves.”
