(CNN) President Donald Trump's reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee raised more than $212 million in the first quarter of 2020. While the numbers are still strong, the campaign did see a dip in how much it raised in March as the coronavirus outbreak swept across the nation.
The campaign brought in $63 million in March compared to the $86 million raised in February.
As CNN reported, the campaign is shifting from basing the President's re-election on a strong economy to his handling of the pandemic.
"Americans can see President Trump leading this nation through a serious crisis and they are responding with their continued enthusiastic support for his re-election. Joe Biden, Democrats and the media continue to oppose his every action, but the people know that President Trump is fighting for them so they are fighting for him as well," Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement with the numbers.
The outbreak has forced the campaign to cancel a slew of in-person fundraisers that were scheduled this year, including two first lady Melania Trump was going to host. Trump's last formal fundraiser was March 9 in Florida.
The campaign has now upped its digital effort when it comes to fundraising, including a slew of videos urging supporters to donate.
