Oprah Winfrey reteams with Ava DuVernay for 'A Wrinkle In Time'

(CNN) Oprah Winfrey is reportedly going to team up with her "Selma" director again.

According to Variety, Winfrey will join the cast of a film adaption of the children's novel "A Wrinkle in Time." The Disney project will be directed by Ava DuVernay, who also directed the 2014 film "Selma."

The beloved story about a group of children who time travel in an effort to find their missing father is part of a series.

Winfrey will play Mrs. Which, "one of the three Mrs. Ws that helps guide the children along their journey."

DuVernay's drama series, "Queen Sugar," premieres on Winfrey's OWN network September 6.
