(CNN) Police believe it was one gunman who opened fire Friday evening at and near a shopping mall in the German city of Munich, killing nine people. The man was found after killing himself, police said.
• A shooting at a McDonald's across from the mall occurred around 5:50 p.m. (11:50 a.m. ET), police said. The shooter then ran toward the mall.
• Of the 21 people who were injured, three were in serious condition, Munich police said.
• The teenage gunman had both German and Iranian citizenship.
