(CNN) Elton John is known as much for his over-the-top outfits as his songwriting talents, and even for his temper tantrums. But where can we get all of that in one place? In James Corden's car, obviously.
In the latest "Carpool Karaoke" segment, "The Late Late Show" host picks up John and the two drive through a very rainy Los Angeles. Never mind the weather, though -- the duo belts out hits from John's massive song catalog, including "Tiny Dancer" and "Lion King" classic "The Circle of Life."
Between songs, they chat about John's quirks. He recounts one of his most outlandish requests ("It's far too windy here, can you do something about it?") and explains why he has four copies of every record he buys (one for each house, of course).
As for the reason behind John's flamboyant clothing?
"I was never a lead vocalist. ... I was stuck at a piano ... and I wasn't a sex symbol. And so I have fun with my outfits."
John joins Adele, One Direction, Stevie Wonder and several other big names on the list of Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" co-stars. Now if he could get them all together for one giant singalong, that would be amazing.
