Andrei Filatov, a 40-year old professional chess player and billionaire businessman, is investing in Soviet Union-era art. This is one of the era's most famous paintings. It is called "A Letter from the Front," by Alexander Laktionov.
"Daisies," by Nicolai Fechin, is one of the pieces Filatov has found for his art fund.

Another Fechin piece, entitled "Friends." Filatov has spent $100 million on collecting Soviet Union art in the last five years and will continue to collect so he can promote the pieces internationally.
